This month Pitch In students explored entities that are different but the same, what is the difference between two mentors? Gender, age, origin, hobbies, etc. Projects revolved around objects that appear to be the same or very similar and researching their differences while using ven diagrams to compare and contrast them. The Illinois Conservation Fund came for a visit and taught the students about transitions in nature with hands on activities. Each student was able to assemble seed balls made of clay and flower seeds to grow on the Lawndale playground, students also got to hold real live slimy tadpoles and frogs!
