This past week Pitch In summer students were extremely busy with our partners! We painted murals on our schools’ walls with Connect Force using our student’s work from previous sessions in which students created positive phrases and backgrounds to encourage LCA students. We can’t wait to complete each mini mural tomorrow!
On Thursday we were also joined by Bella Cuisine Kids Cooking Club to make our own lunch and dessert. Students learned how to make potstickers, safely chop vegetables and saute them and a healthy dessert option, yogurt parfaits with fruit!
Keeping busy has made our Pitch In summer fly by, only two more weeks left!
