“Sarah and Kerry Wood Pitching In for Chicago’s Kids” Award.

Every year, we select a beloved childhood text as the backdrop for our big night, and this year’s storybook is The Rainbow Fish, rich with the themes of generosity, abundance, and sharing what we have with others. At Pitch In, we know every student in Chicago deserves to experience abundance. And so, through the themes of this treasured story, and the kindness and generosity of countless individuals over the last ten years, Pitch In has been able to reach three neighborhoods, five school communities, and hundreds of students. Together, we will continue to scale Pitch In to bring abundance and happiness to every student across Chicago.This year in particular, we’re pulling out all the stops to celebrate nearly 10 years of Pitch In programming and growth across Chicago.
